Description
This plugin for both MA2 and MA3 allows the user to set their fixture IDs based on the patch of their fixtures. It was originally built for Jamie Legge in the UK film lighting world (to which I do not belong at all).
The plugin has 2 modes: “ID By Address” and “ID By Multicore”.
- “ID By Address” mode simply sets the fixture ID to be identical to the DMX address of a fixture with the decimal removed. So the fixture addressed at DMX 12.101 would be assigned the fixture ID of 12101.
- “ID By Multicore” (or “ID By Soca” in the MA3 version) sets IDs by the multicore number and circuit within that multicore.
